Just a thought....Wouldn't it be prudent if the DPW and any other person who plows Worcester's streets to go and drive over the areas in which they plow and see how wide these streets actually are and how they can plow more efficently during the winter. I know there was alot of debris in the roads during the Halloween storm, but on the streets where there was nothing in the way, the streets were plowed AWFUL !!! Start wide during the first storm and try to keep the roads wide with each following storm. The person who plows my neighborhood stays at least 6 to 8 feet from the cube on each side. We end up with a path to drive on as the winter goes on. I'd be happy to place markers at the curb by my house just to give the plow-guy something to go by...Concerned Pam

During plowing operations if you notice this procedure is not being done properly please contact our Customer Service Center directly at (508)929-1300.
